From Death to Life
I remember the day so clearly — January 5th, 2012.
I was in a Las Vegas hotel room getting high. By then, it was routine. I was deep in addiction. An old friend took me to a parking lot where he had a stolen Mercedes SUV. Inside the trunk were three stolen shotguns. A plan started forming — use the guns to get more drugs.
That night, I had a very real feeling I was going to die.
And I had a choice: move forward with the plan or surrender my life to God.
I chose surrender.
That moment changed everything. This brand — Barely Saved — was born from that turning point. It reflects the loving transformation that happens when we stop running and let God take control.

A Tattoo with a Testimony
In late 2012, I got a tattoo that told my story: a ship lost at sea, skulls in the water, a kraken behind it, and a skull watching from a distance.
It wasn’t just art — it was me.
The ship could see a lighthouse in the distance — a symbol that even when I was drowning in darkness, I knew God was still there.
I’ve never been one to open up easily, but I knew others could find hope in my story. So I made myself a promise:
Anytime someone asks about my tattoo, I will share what God has done in my life.
